from the north highway a1 (from Milan)

• Exit the A1 at FIRENZE CERTOSA PAY-TOLL
  take the motorway Firenze-Siena on the right direction SIENA

• after 40 km exit at COLLE VAL D’ ELSA NORD, follow directions to COLLE VAL D’ELSA CENTRE on the left for 3 km (43 km from Firenze Certosa)
  attention: ignore the signs San Gimignano, Volterra, Casole d’Elsa

• follow through Colle Val D’Elsa centre in direction GROSSETO–MASSA MARITTIMA, on the national road SS 541

• 15 km after Colle VAl D’Elsa (58 km from Firenze Certosa) take the way on the right towards RADICONDOLI, MENSANO, CASOLE D’ELSA

• After 5 km (63 km from Firenze Certosa) on a wide turn left you have to take the right way in direction of MENSANO, CASOLE D’ELSA, MONTEGUIDI

• after 3 km (66 km) following the street , after the crossroad (fork road) for Mensano, take to the left direction MONTEGUIDI, MONTECASTELLI PISANO

• after 3 more km (69 km ) after the crossroad on the right to the small village of Monteguidi , follow down the street for 5 km ( 74 km ) until the BRIDGE OVER THE RIVER CECINA ( PONTE DELLA SPINETA)

• immediately after the bridge and the sandy cave pay attention to the right side: before another little bridge you will see the sign « CASA VACANZE LE PELAGHE » on a earth road. Follow down this way for 2,5 km (76,5 km from Firenze Certosa) until the suburb of CERBAIOLA : the gradient is 15% - 16% . Just before the village follow the sign on the right “LE PELAGHE”
  ATTENTION!: THIS IS A SHORTER WAY FOR THOSE WHO ARRIVE FROM THE A1 HIGHWAY BUT THE ROAD IS NOT IN GOOD SURFACE CONDITIONS : ALTHOUGH DRIVING CAREFULLY YOU CAN DRIVE ACROSS THIS SECONDARY WAY WITH EVERY CAR , WE RECOMMEND THIS ON A 4X4 VEHICLE ESPECIALLY IN WINTER AND RAINY PERIODS.

• ALTYERNATIVE ROAD: follow over the bridge on the river Cecina for 5 km until the fork road on the right for the small village of Montecastelli Pisano

• from this point follow up the street for 500m. through the houses of Montecastelli , along the street you will end up finding a wall on the left and on the right the sign « CASA VACANZE LE PELAGHE » : drive down carefully on this earth way for 3,5 km (83 km from Firenze Certosa) and you will find the CERBAIOLA suburb .
   

FROM THE HIGHWAY A 12 (from Genoa)

• at the exit toll ROSIGNANO MARITTIMO (end of the A12 ) take the national road SS1 Aurelia Nuova (A 80) until Cecina . Follow along for 5,5 km and take direction VOLTERRA, COLLE VAL D’ELSA on the SS 68.

• After 28 km ( 33,5 km from Rosignano) you will arrive in the centre of SALINE DI VOLTERRA: follow the directions to LARDERELLO, POMARANCE, on the right on the national road SS439,

• 4 km away from the centre of Pomarance (at the traffic-lights) , 17 km after Saline di Volterra and 50km from Rosignano , in the district of BULERA look for a grey cross surrounded by cypresses, turn left following direction MONTECASTELLI PISANO , SAN DALMAZIO, SIENA for about 8 km (58 km from Rosignano) until the fork road on the left for the small village of MONTECASTELLI PISANO (4 km away from San Dalmazio );

• From this point follow up the street for 500m. through the houses of Montecastelli , along the street you will end up finding on the left a big wall and on the right the sign « CASA VACANZE LE PELAGHE » : drive down carefully on this earth way for 3,5 km (62 km from Rosignano Marittimo) and you will find the CERBAIOLA suburb.
